Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,267 per week in Augusta, GA

Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 9 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of ER experience; travel experience required; 1st timers not accepted. License: Valid RN License required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS required. Must-Have: Travel experience (minimum 3 ER contracts preferred). Epic experience required. Description: The Emergency Room is large and busy. Candidates must have experience in fast-paced, high-acuity environments. The patient population ranges from adolescents to geriatrics. The nurse-patient ratio is 1:4. The Emergency Room averages 165-175 patients per day. Shifts will include weekends with the expectation to work every other weekend unless otherwise specified. Floating is rare but may occur within the facility and scope of practice as needed. Travelers are expected to work on major holidays within their assignment period. Compliance is required to start on time. Candidates will be reviewed by clinical personnel to determine clinical fit. This is a non-trauma general emergency department. The facility is stroke and STEMI certified. All RTO must be finalized at time of submission. No RTO or schedule requests can be made post-offer or during the orientation week. General skills required include: management of various emergency conditions, running IVs, triage, and performing advanced medical assessments. Candidates should be proficient with the EPIC charting system. Mental and behavioral health experience is also beneficial.
