Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,273 per week in Salem, VA

# Job Opportunity – Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse – Virginia**Start Date:** September 21, 2026 **Location:** Salem, Virginia **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Day or Night shifts available; four weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period (Friday/Saturday for nights; Saturday/Sunday for days); no on-call required**Highlights:**- 27-bed Emergency Department with patient ratios of 4-6:1- High-acuity, fast-paced ED environment with comprehensive case mix including RSI, sepsis interventions, stroke protocol with tPA administration, and central line placement- Collaborative team of 50 RNs and 25 Medics providing quality emergency care- EMR system: Meditech- Day shift includes charge nurse, 5 RNs, 2-3 medics, with additional staff support at 11am and 3pm- Scrub color: Navy blue or white**Requirements:**- Current RN license in Virginia (or ability to obtain)- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required- Minimum 2-3 years of Emergency Department experience- Must have completed 2-3 travel assignments- Preferred: ENPC, NRP, NIH certifications- Experience with high-acuity, high-volume EDs and 5:1 patient ratios strongly preferred**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**Join a dedicated emergency medicine team in a supportive, team-oriented environment that values respect and collaboration.
