Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Emergency Room/Emergency Department- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in Cerner system
- Utilize equipment such as Baxter pumps and GE monitors effectively
- Participate in patient triage and emergency response procedures
Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Emergency Room/Emergency Department- Active RN license
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications prior to starting
- 2 years of experience in a Level 2 trauma center or comprehensive stroke center
- 1-year experience in an ER setting
