The Registered Nurse specializes in assessing, intervening, and stabilizing patients in situations that require critical clinical decision-making skills. Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program is required to become proficient in serving the Emergency Services patient population. Every other weekend is required. The unit serves all patient age groups and consists of 31 rooms. The Registered Nurse will utilize PYXIS and EPIC systems. The role includes responsibilities such as blood product administration and triage. Collaboration with interdisciplinary support, including phlebotomy and radiology, is expected. Travelers must be willing to float based on unit needs. Medical and religious exemptions for COVID-19 and flu vaccines will be considered. References are required for submission. Candidates with license or background findings require facility approval prior to an offer. Travelers residing within a certain radius are accepted at the local rate.
