The role requires professional knowledge and consideration for specific patient conditions and treatments. Nursing duties include the support of individuals of all ages and their families. Guidelines include physician orders, standards of care, nursing policies and procedures manuals, and hospital policies. The emergency department provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient emergency services. The nursing staff includes registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, nursing assistants, and more. This position requires maintaining current valid certifications throughout employment. Bilingual skills are not required for this role. Holiday coverage is required.
