Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks with option to extend Shift: 3 nights Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current licensure by the state board of nursing Certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC (preferred) Must-Have: - Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) (preferred) - Certification in BLS - Certification in ACLS Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of those solutions. Demonstrates clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the department. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
