Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years of recent Level I or II Emergency Department experience and/or 2+ years of recent Level 3/4 Emergency Department experience. License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS (must be active and unexpired) Must-Have: - Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and identify heart blocks - Pass a Telemetry Test on Day 1 (85% or higher) Description: Seeking Registered Nurses for our busy Emergency Department. Shifts are 12 hours, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Staff will work two weekends in a four-week schedule period. On-call duty is required for every other holiday. Candidates must be willing to stay through the entire assignment duration. Travelers must be flexible with floating to various areas, including Psych ED and Pediatric ED. Pediatric ED will involve caring for patients aged 15 and older unless prior pediatric experience is confirmed. The patient ratio will be 1:4-5, depending on acuity. The Emergency Department serves 350-440 patients each day, with a total of 120 treatment areas. Travelers will not be placed in trauma rooms while on assignment. Candidates with previous travel assignments and critical care experience are preferred. Experience with EPIC is also preferred.
