Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,290 per week in Iron Mountain, MI

Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening, Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years License: Must have a valid state license in hand Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: 2 years of Emergency Department experience Ability to work with trauma patients Experience with various medical diagnoses Description: This position is for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse. The unit is a Trauma Level IV facility. The emergency room treats approximately 40-60 patients daily. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3-4 during the day and 2 RNs after 3 AM. There are designated triage and fast track areas within the emergency room. Traveling nurses will be trained in policies and procedures before triaging patients. Security is provided by local law enforcement with maintenance acting as security during hours. Registered Nurses will be responsible for administration, assessment, and monitoring of patients. 24/7 respiratory therapy and phlebotomy services are available. Shifts are managed by the nursing supervisor with a focus on fair scheduling. Weekend and holiday shifts are required as part of the contract. Behavioral health rooms can be converted as needed within the department. All clinicians must clock in and out while on duty. There is no specific dress code other than clean and professional attire. The position allows for floating to inpatient areas as needed for support.
