Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,292 per week in Portland, OR

Job Title: ER Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (10:00 - 22:00) and Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in ER License: Active Registered Nurse license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required Must-Have: - Experience with Epic charting system - Ability to float between units as needed - Valid driver's license and a vehicle Description: The position requires a highly motivated ER Registered Nurse. The nurse will float between units to meet department needs. The nurse will be required to work weekends, at least every other weekend. Patient ratios are expected to be 1:4. Candidates must be proficient in ACLS, BLS, and PALS. Must be comfortable managing a diverse patient population including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Ideal candidates will have experience with both trauma and non-trauma cases. Flexibility to adjust patient assignments based on workload intensity is essential. The facility sees a variety of diagnoses, including emergency situations and medical boarders. All candidates must be prepared to manage acute psychosis, drug overdoses, and respiratory infections. Strong skills in IV management, procedural sedation, and triage are required. In addition, the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams is necessary.
