Description:
The role is focused on providing high-quality nursing care in various emergency room settings.
Traveling nurses are expected to float within designated zones as required.
Nurses will manage a diverse patient population and handle a variety of clinical situations.
Common patient diagnoses may include abdominal pain, diabetes, NSTEMI, pneumonia, trauma, stroke, and hypertension.
Nurse-to-patient ratios will vary based on acuity.
The emergency rooms may operate as trauma receiving facilities.
The role involves the ability to work with medications in emergency care settings.
Point-of-care lab testing will be a part of the responsibilities.
There are shifts available throughout the week, including weekends and holidays.
The position requires flexibility and adaptability to different clinical environments.
Focus on teamwork and collaboration with other healthcare professionals is essential.
RNs will need to possess the ability to interpret telemetry.
Each shift will present unique challenges and learning opportunities.
