All required certifications must be in hand to be considered. Permanent address must be included in the profile. Any requested time off must be noted and verified at the time of submission. Description: The Emergency Department operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Upon arrival, patients will be screened by an Emergency Department Nurse to determine the severity of their condition and the appropriate course of treatment. The Emergency Department is fully staffed around the clock and serves a significant number of patient visits each year. Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified at the time of submission. No more than five days of requested time off will be accepted. Requests for time off made after submission or during the interview process will not be approved. Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work two blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and the weekend after, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the weekend after, New Year’s Eve through New Year’s Day and the weekend after. Travelers without voicemail setup when contacted will be redirected. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Requests made after the offer may lead to a rescinded offer. A supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment is required. All certifications must be uploaded with the profile to be considered. Every other weekend and holidays may be required if needed.
