Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years of current Emergency Department experience in a hospital setting; 3 months minimum travel experience preferred License: Active RN license Certifications: - Active American Heart Association BLS - Active American Heart Association ACLS - Active Trauma Nursing Core Course TNCC - Active American Heart Association PALS Must-Have: - All certifications must be in hand to be considered - Traveler must have their own vehicle - Permanent address must be included in profile - Any/all requested time off (RTO) must be included in profile Description: Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Upon arrival, patients are promptly screened by an Emergency Department Nurse to determine the severity of their condition and the appropriate course of treatment. The Emergency Department serves approximately 14,000 patient visits each year. Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified during submission. Requests for time off after submission will not be approved. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work one block during specified holiday weekends. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Active communication and availability via phone are essential. Profile requirements include a detailed work history, skills checklist current to 1 year, and supervisory references. Experience working in the Emergency Department is required. Certifications and licenses must be valid and uploaded with the profile. Travelers should be prepared to work every other weekend and holidays if needed.
