Key Responsibilities of the RN - ED Emergency Department - Travel

• Assess patients' clinical conditions, recognizing, identifying, and interpreting serious situations.
• Initiate appropriate measures in emergency situations when the physician is not available.
• Operate and monitor emergency care equipment such as infusion pumps and cardiac monitors.
• Administer medications and IV therapy as prescribed by the physician.
• Record observations, nursing interventions, and the status of coordinated activities.
• Document specific health care requirements and prepare written assignments for team members.
• Plan and develop care delivery and coordinate documentation of care.
• Sustain adequate supplies and equipment and ensure a safe environment.

Requirements of the RN - ED Emergency Department - Travel

• Minimum of 3 years experience in an emergency care setting.
• Possess and maintain a Board of Nursing approved Oklahoma or Compact/Multi-State RN License.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Meet pre-employment credentialing clearances (Background Check, Drug Screen, etc.).
• Ability to meet physical demands (stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl), and lift up to 50lbs.
