The position requires 36 hours per week, with every other weekend and holiday commitments. Candidates must be proficient in managing a patient ratio of 1:4, with the possibility of 1:5 during lower acuity. This role is in a fast-paced emergency setting with high patient volume. Common diagnoses include respiratory issues, COPDs, CHF, diabetes, geriatric-related illnesses, abdominal pain, and myocardial infarctions. Familiarity with the EPIC documentation system is necessary. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretarial support.
