Job Title: ED Night RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1-2 years required, >2 years preferred License: State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Minimum of 18 months of nursing experience working in an emergency department - ED experience within the past six months - Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services - Effective communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel Description: Our Emergency Department RNs must be ready to care for patients when they need us most. In addition to providing specialized and innovative services, our ED RNs need to handle an array of emergency situations for patients of all ages. Our Emergency Department nurses are trained to deal with a variety of trauma situations requiring quick and decisive actions. Ideal prospective ED RNs must be able to quickly and accurately assess incoming patients with both physical and mental health conditions. They must prioritize their injuries and medical needs accordingly. Candidates should have the ability to perform professional nursing services effectively in a fast-paced environment.
