Seven Healthcare is pleased to present an exciting travel opportunity for an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse in Falls Church, Virginia. This assignment offers a competitive weekly blended rate of $2,325, based on three 12-hour night shifts per week. Key Responsibilities of the ED RN:
- Provide rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment for patients across all acuity levels
- Triage incoming patients and prioritize care based on urgency
- Perform emergency interventions, medication administration, and continuous monitoring
- Collaborate with physicians, EMS, and multidisciplinary teams
- Respond to trauma cases, cardiac events, and medical emergencies
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR
- Support patient and family education in crisis situations
Requirements of the ED RN:
- Active Virginia/Compact RN license (or ability to obtain)
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience
- Strong critical thinking, crisis management, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
