Job Title: Registered Nurse: ED Holding - Inpatient Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Emergency Department (ED) Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in an ED environment, with experience within the past six months preferred. License: State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license. Certifications: BLS-AHA, ACLS, Telemetry, PALS, NIHSS Must-Have: NIHSS, Telemetry Description: Our Emergency Department RNs must be ready to care for patients when they need us most. In addition to providing specialized and innovative services, we need our ED RNs to handle an array of emergency situations for patients of all ages. Our Emergency Department nurses are trained to deal with a variety of trauma situations requiring quick and decisive actions. Ideal prospective ED RNs must be able to quickly and accurately assess incoming patients with both physical and mental health conditions. They should be capable of prioritizing injuries and medical needs accordingly. Candidates must have a proven level of performance and practice. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities are necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. The ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services is essential. Effective communication with patients, families, and hospital personnel is required.
