Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Must have state license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, Cerner EMR experience Must-Have: • Triage experience required • Candidates must successfully pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms. • Must have worked in an Emergency Department setting with at least 45,600 visits per year within the past 8 months. • Travel experience is required. • Must float within skill set as needed. • Every other weekend and every other holiday required. • Flu vaccine is required with no exemptions. Description: The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will provide direct care to patients in a fast-paced environment. Candidates will perform triage, assessments, and interventions based on patient needs. The role requires effective prioritization and organizational skills to manage the workload efficiently. The candidate will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient care. Experience with Cerner EMR is necessary for documentation and charting. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in emergency care procedures and protocols. The position entails care of patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics. Regular rotation for weekend shifts and holidays is expected.
