The facility is a trauma center that provides healthcare to a diverse patient population. The hospital offers services including medical, surgical, and rehabilitation care. It features a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, behavioral health unit, and a day surgery center. The Emergency Department has a total of 48 beds with flex space. Patient ratios are 4:1 in the main department and 6:1 in the fast track area. The unit follows a team nursing and pod system. There is a social worker assigned to the department and a unit educator available. Common patient diagnoses include ESRD, substance abuse disorders, psychological disorders, COPD, CHF, abdominal pain, and chest pain. Required education is an RN ADN or equivalent.
