Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,326 per week in Hagerstown, MD

Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Maryland

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Maryland

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 4:1 patient ratios; weekend coverage required (6 weekend shifts per contract); expect to work some holidays and weekends; 20-hour orientation provided

Highlights:

• Level II Trauma Center with high acuity patients and fast-paced environment
• 54-bed Emergency Department averaging 220 patient visits per day
• All age groups treated: neonates through geriatrics
• Epic EMR system required; comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and radiology
• One-year travel contract with extensive clinical exposure to trauma, stroke, STEMI, and critical care cases
• Two periods of pre-approved time off available

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale (pending certification acceptable)
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• COVID-19 vaccination required (no exemptions)
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
• 2-step PPD required
• Proficiency in critical skills including dysrhythmia management, IV vasopressors, central line care, procedural sedation, blood product administration, and ventilated patient care
