We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a contract assignment in Lincoln City, Oregon. This role is situated within a dynamic Emergency Department that provides comprehensive care for a diverse patient population, ranging from non-critical to emergent medical conditions, including urgent mental health needs.
The department welcomes all patients, whether arriving by walk-in or emergency transport. As an integral member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, with all staff certified to manage critical cardiac, trauma, and pediatric patients.
Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions.
Provide rapid and effective interventions for emergent and urgent medical and mental health crises.
Manage care for critical cardiac, trauma, and pediatric patients according to established protocols.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record.
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Required Qualifications
Current unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Healthcare Provider Level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
