Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,378 per week in San Jose, CA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 12 Weeks Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Emergency Department License: RN License Required Certifications: PALS, ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - At least 3-5 years of Emergency Department experience in an acute care hospital Description: The emergency department has 36 beds and is staffed by a diverse team. Day shift typically includes 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 sitters. Night shift patient ratios are 4:1, with critical care patients having a 1:1 or 2:1 ratio. Essential equipment includes Phillips EMR and Meditech. The unit serves as a stroke and STEMI center. Ideal candidates should be team players. Charge nurse experience and prior travel/interim experience in California are preferred. Candidates without emergency department experience will not be considered for the role. Work every other weekend is required. No floating areas are present. Scrubs are the required attire with no specific color guideline.
