Job Opportunity – Emergency Department / Medical-Surgical RN – Iowa

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Schedule: 13-week assignment; every 3rd weekend required; holiday coverage as needed; call rate $4/hour; overtime at 1.25x base rate

Requirements:

• Iowa RN license or active Compact license (required)
• Minimum 2 years current Emergency Department experience (required)
• Minimum 2 years Medical-Surgical experience (required)
• American Heart Association BLS certification (required)
• American Heart Association ACLS certification (required)
• TNCC certification (preferred)
• PALS certification (preferred)
• BSN degree (preferred)
• Previous travel nursing experience (preferred)
• Current Emergency Room skills checklist within the past year (required)
• Current Medical-Surgical skills checklist within the past year (required)
• Two supervisory references from within the past two years (required)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from facility location
• Reliable personal transportation required
