Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and fast-paced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling critical situations, delivering urgent care, and working efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
Schedule:
Days/Nights/Rotating
Weekend and holiday availability may be required
Key Responsibilities:
Provide immediate and effective care to patients in emergency situations
Perform rapid patient assessments and triage
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies
Assist physicians during emergency procedures
Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly
Document patient care accurately using EMR systems
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Ensure adherence to hospital safety and infection control protocols
Requirements:
Active RN License ([State])
Minimum 2 years of ER experience Required
Certifications Required:
BLS (AHA or RQI)
ACLS
PALS (preferred/required based on facility)
TNCC (preferred)
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
Required Qualifications:
Previous travel or trauma center experience
