Pay: $2500/week

We are seeking an experienced RN for a Transfer Center role within the Dignity Health Sacramento system. This is a non-bedside, coordination-focused position where you will manage patient transfers, collaborate with physicians, and ensure appropriate placement across healthcare facilities.
Important: This role involves ZERO direct patient care and is heavily focused on clinical coordination and communication.

Minimum 2+ years of ICU, ER, or Transfer Center experience
Strong acute care background
Proficiency in clinical assessment and critical thinking
Experience with Cerner or EPIC EMR systems
Excellent computer skills & multitasking ability
Transfer Center experience
Familiarity with TeleTracking & TigerConnect
Strong typing speed (Typing test score recommended at submission)
Facilitate patient transfers across Dignity Health and external facilities
Review and assess clinical information, vitals, and patient reports
Coordinate with physicians and specialists to secure accepting providers
Arrange bed placement and appropriate facility assignment
Utilize systems such as Cerner, TeleTracking, TigerConnect, and Google applications
Manage multiple cases simultaneously (10–15 active cases per shift)
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Unit: Transfer Center (Clinical Coordination)
Average Cases: ~12 per shift
Work with hospitals across multiple regions
No bedside duties – fully coordination-based role
12-hour night shifts
Every other weekend required
Must be flexible to work any day of the week
No floating
RTO must be minimal
Fast-paced, high multitasking environment
Heavy use of multiple computer systems simultaneously
Business casual or scrubs allowed
Orientation: 1 day general + 3–5 days department training
