Description:
Seeking a Nursing Professional Development Practitioner in the Emergency Services specialty.
This role focuses on developing, delivering, and evaluating educational content and learning.
The facility is a 198-bed, level III trauma center.
The center provides comprehensive healthcare services, including medical, surgical, and rehabilitation services.
It features advanced operating suites and multiple specialized units.
The position primarily involves day shifts but may require some overlap during shift changes based on departmental needs.
No on-call requirements are necessary for this position.
Preferred qualifications include experience in a trauma center and a background in nursing education.
The patient population includes both adults and pediatrics.
Key equipment includes cardiac monitors, blood warmers, infusion pumps, and monitoring devices.
Electronic Health Record (EHR) system utilized is Cerner.
The staff-to-patient ratio in the emergency department is 1:4.
