Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room setting
Monitor and document patient progress and changes
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to determine best course of action
Interpret ECG strips and manage all standard ER drips such as vasopressors and insulin
Assist with triage and assessment of patients

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

Active IL RN license or confirmation of application process initiated
2 years' ER experience
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA), TNCC preferred
