Location: Bridgeport, WV

Pay: $2,409.48 per week

Shifts: 12 hr nights, weekends as scheduled

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN to join the Emergency Department team in Bridgeport, WV, on a travel assignment. This role specializes in providing acute care in a dynamic ER environment, utilizing the EPIC charting system. With 32 beds and a fast-paced, positive atmosphere, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RN looking to make a difference.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Emergency Department
  • Provide efficient and effective care to ER patients, including chest pain, respiratory failure, and abdominal pain
  • Manage a ratio of 1:4 in the Main ER, ensuring high standards of patient care
  • Collaborate with ER physicians, NPs, and PAs to stabilize and manage patient conditions
  • Utilize the EPIC EMR system for all patient documentation
  • Participate in floor-specific orientation with a preceptor for 1-2 shifts
  • Perform telemonitoring, including reading and interpreting strips

Requirements of the RN - Emergency Department
  • Active RN license
  • BLS & ACLS certifications required
  • Experience in a similar acute care or ER environment preferred
  • Willingness to work every-other-weekend as per schedule
  • Ability to fulfill holiday rotation with permanent staff
