Job Summary
Join our dynamic Emergency Department team in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, as a dedicated Registered Nurse. This role involves providing expert, compassionate care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions and injuries. You will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring optimal outcomes and patient safety. Key Responsibilities
- Apply the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation) to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately, adhering to established policies, procedures, and state practice acts.
- Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of patient care activities.
- Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans, including patient and family education.
- Participate in departmental performance improvement initiatives and shared governance activities.
- Provide clinical expertise and guidance to support the patient's longitudinal plan of care across units.
- Utilize critical thinking to ensure patient safety and enhance the patient experience, escalating concerns appropriately.
- Engage in professional nursing continuum processes, unit practice decisions, and peer review.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department setting.

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wisconsin.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Trauma Nurse Specialist (TNS) certification.
