We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse with Charge Nurse experience for a 13-week contract in Aberdeen, Washington. This role involves providing expert nursing care to a diverse patient population within a fast-paced Emergency Department setting.

Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, from initial assessment to discharge or transfer.
Lead and coordinate patient care activities as a Charge Nurse, ensuring efficient patient flow and resource utilization.
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Respond rapidly and effectively to emergent situations, performing critical interventions as required.
Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department setting.
Proven Charge Nurse experience.
Ability to work effectively as a team player in a high-pressure environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Meditech Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Skills & Competencies
Advanced clinical assessment and critical thinking skills specific to emergency medicine.
Proficiency in emergency interventions and life support protocols.
Strong leadership and delegation abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Hours: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (1830-0700)
Duration: 12-hour shifts

Licensing Requirements
Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or a Compact Multi-State RN license.
Completion of approved 6-hour suicide training specific to Washington State.
Verification of demographics via Nursys.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
Current National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
