Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ED/Trauma Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 3rd shift, rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Department/Trauma required License: Must hold a current state Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact Certifications: - Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an approved equivalent - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Trauma Nurse Course Certification (TNCC) - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within one year of hire Must-Have: - Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment - Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice as obtained through completion of an accredited School of Nursing Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population. The role incorporates essential functions adapted from the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice.
