Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department
  • Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
  • Recognize significant changes in patient condition and respond appropriately
  • Implement strategies to enhance patient safety and reduce risk
  • Coordinate discharge plans using an interdisciplinary approach
  • Actively participate in quality/process improvement initiatives
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among healthcare team members

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state of Wisconsin
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification by AHA
  • Completion of an accredited or approved Nursing program
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience
  • Required Certifications: ACLS, PALS, TNCC
