Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department- Provide emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics
- Perform IV starts, assist with chest tube insertion, and titrate medications (pressors, insulin, sedation)
- Administer stroke treatment, including TPA, and manage trauma cases
- Participate in tasks such as lab draws and maintaining contamination-free blood cultures
- Utilize EPIC EMR system for patient documentation and care coordination
Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department- Active RN License
- 2 years of recent ED experience
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC; CPI/MOAB, TCRN, TNS, ENPC preferred
- Experience with EPIC EMR and skills such as US-guided IV placement
