Key Responsibilities of the Emergency Room Nurse- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to various patient types
- Effectively manage trauma, cardiac, and respiratory cases
- Utilize EPIC for patient charting and care documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and support staff
- Participate in unit orientation and ongoing training
Requirements of the Emergency Room Nurse- Minimum of 3 years strong ED experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS certifications
- EPIC experience required
- ENCP and TNCC certifications preferred
- De-escalation training such as MOAB or CPI preferred
