Key Responsibilities of the RN - Emergency Room (ER/ED)- Provide immediate and effective care in a Level IV Trauma Center environment
- Manage and prioritize care for diverse patient groups: Behavioral Health, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, Adult
- Utilize strong ED skills in trauma, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and line management
- Collaborate closely with support staff, including ED Techs and Case Managers
- Engage in effective communication with the multidisciplinary team
Requirements of the RN - Emergency Room (ER/ED)- Minimum of 2 years experience in Emergency Department
- Active BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications (PALS and ENCP preferred)
- Proficient in EPIC charting system
- De-escalation training, such as MOAB or CPI, preferred
