- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Trauma Nurse course certification (TNCC)
- American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is required within one year of hire
Must-Have:
Clinical competence in the care and management of target patient populations specific to area of employment
Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice
Description:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment.
This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population.
The role involves the application of nursing theory and practice as part of the standards of practice.
The RN will be responsible for managing patient care and ensuring a high standard of care is maintained.
Telemetry competence is required for this position.
The RN should possess strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team.
This role requires critical thinking and the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
The RN will continually assess patient needs and respond accordingly.
Strong assessment skills are essential for this role.
In addition, the RN will provide education and support to patients and their families.
Continuing education and professional development are encouraged in this position.
The RN will be expected to adhere to all policies and procedures related to patient care.
