Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ years License: Valid RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications needed in hand at time of submission - Charting experience in Epic required - 50-mile local radius, locals not accepted - 2 weekend shifts per contract Description: Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an Emergency Room position. This role is for night shifts, working four 12-hour shifts per week. Travelers and first-time travelers are welcome to apply. Experience in a high-acuity setting is preferred. Knowledge and skills in managing various emergency conditions including abdominal pain, acute psychosis, gunshot wounds, and respiratory infections are required. Applicants must be adept in procedures such as intubation, central line management, and chest tube insertion. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in managing patients with multiple system dysfunctions and acute emergencies. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams will be essential for optimal patient care. Candidates must have a strong ability to prioritize and manage patient care effectively. Documentation experience with Epic is essential for this role. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Two weekend shifts are required per contract duration.
