Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,467 per week in Independence, MO

The unit consists of 40 beds with a staff of over 120. Patient ratios are 4:1, with three rooms and one hall bed in high volume. Equipment includes cardiac monitors, EKGs, ultrasound, rapid infuser, IO drills, and LifePak. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. IV starts and phlebotomy are common procedures performed on the unit. Candidates must have experience with cardiac monitoring and interpretation. A positive and outgoing personality is essential, especially under pressure. High-pressure experience in previous roles is preferred. Previous medical experience, such as RN, Medic, or Technician, is beneficial.
