This unit has 38 bed spaces, including three main areas: Rapid, Main, and a designated safe area. The staff consists of seven registered nurses on day shifts and seven on night shifts. Key equipment includes Ventilators, BiPAP machines, EKG, Arterial Lines, Belmont, and Chest Tubes. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. The ideal candidate will be patient-focused and pay close attention to detail. The individual should work well in a team, maintain a positive attitude, and be coachable. Typical procedures performed in this unit include Port Placement and Chest Tube insertion. Weekend shifts are required, with a minimum of four weekends and two Fridays in a four-week schedule, as well as holidays.
