Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,467 per week in Kansas City, MO

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 15:00 - 03:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN Licensure Certifications: Must-Have: - Prioritizing - Time Management - De-escalation course - CPI (preferred) Description: 48 hours guaranteed is an option. The unit has 38 beds with three main areas: Rapid, Main, and a psych safe area. Staff consists of 7 Day Shift RN and 7 Night Shift RN. Typical equipment includes Vent, BiPAP, EKG, Arterial Lines, Belmont, and Chest Tubes. The EMR system used is Meditech. Candidates will be prioritized based on the required skills. Best personality fit includes being patient-focused, attentive to details, a team player, having a positive attitude, and being coachable. Typical procedures performed on the unit include Port Placement and Chest Tubes. There is a requirement of 4 weekend shifts and 2 Fridays minimum per 4-week schedule. 2 major holidays and 2 minor holidays are also required. Unit policies and guidelines are available for review.
