Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years License: South Carolina RN license or Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS required Must-Have: Charge experience Description: Position/Specialty: Emergency Room Nurse Shift: 4x12s, Days, 7 am - 7 pm Manager will consider 3x12s. Ratios: 1:4 Weekend requirement: Every other weekend On-call requirement: No Traveler may need to float within scope to meet facility needs. Traveler must have a diverse patient care background. Units may have varied patient care needs and diagnoses. Preferred certifications include TNCC. Facility uses Epic for charting. Local candidates within a 60-mile radius may be considered on a case-by-case basis. A facility may call off one shift every two weeks. Travelers should be aware of possible emergency response assignment during hurricane season. All time-off requests must be included at the time of application. Candidates must complete all compliance requirements prior to the start date. Modules must be completed before the start date. Completion of all labs is required within specified time frames. Travelers with planned vacations during the compliance process must complete requirements beforehand. Previous permanent staff must have been separated from the system for one year before returning as travelers. Candidates with a pending license must provide proof of application and confirm the ability to complete the licensing process in South Carolina. Approval for time-off requests will depend on facility needs. Only one submission per job will be accepted. Ensure clarity and compliance in all provided documentation. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and teamwork.
