Job Title: ER Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum 5 years required License: Valid State License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - Previous Charge Experience - Patient Ratio Experience: 4 - Charting System Experience: Required - Charting System Name: Epic - Trauma Level II Experience: Required - Travel Experience Description: An experienced ER Registered Nurse is needed to provide quality care in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will be responsible for triaging patients and managing critical situations. They will perform advanced procedures and care for patients with a variety of diagnoses. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Experience working with diverse patient age groups including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics is essential. Experience with biPAP/CPAP management and care of ventilated patients is necessary. The nurse will also be responsible for the management of central lines and administration of emergency medications. Management of dysrhythmias and interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs) will be required. Candidates must be comfortable working weekends, including every other weekend. The position involves a daily patient census of 50-70 and a patient ratio of 4 per nurse. Pre-approved time off is not available.
