Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Ohio. This role requires the delivery of high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients' physical and emotional health
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
Monitor and document patient responses to care and adjust plans as necessary
Provide education to patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up care
Triage patients effectively to prioritize care based on the severity of illness or injury
Assist in resuscitation, stabilization, and advanced life support procedures during emergencies
Operate and maintain emergency equipment, including defibrillators, monitors, and ventilators
Work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare team members to coordinate care
Communicate patient status, changes, and care plans clearly to team members and families
Adhere to established protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements
Promote and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff by following infection control and safety protocols

Requirements of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Current license by the Ohio State Board of Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in ED
Must have 1 year of previous travel experience
