Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,506 per week in Davis, CA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid (3x12-Hour), Night (3x12-Hour) Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 years preferred License: Valid RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - Epic experience - Every other weekend availability Description: This position is variable and will include shifts from 1 PM to 1 AM, 4 PM to 4 AM, and/or 7 PM to 7 AM. Candidates must hold a valid RN license and current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Epic experience is a requirement. This role requires candidates to work every other weekend. Charge experience is preferred. Candidates will work with a patient ratio of 4:1 during the day and night shifts. Daily census is approximately 100 patients, with around 100 visits per day. The unit consists of 28 rooms and has 23 beds. Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, and social services among others. Candidates must have experience with key skills such as arterial line management, blood product administration, and care of ventilated patients. Additional skills required include management of dysrhythmias, interpretation of arterial blood gases, and triage. Preferred experience includes having previously worked in an emergency department setting. Compliance includes a thorough work history verification going back 7 years. Only one holiday per contract can be requested and maximum RTO is limited to 7 days.
