Join a nationally recognized Top 20 Critical Access Hospital in Le Mars, Iowa, as a dedicated Registered Nurse. This pivotal role primarily focuses on providing expert care within the Obstetrics unit, with a strong emphasis on Labor and Delivery services.
The Staff RN will also float to the Medical-Surgical unit as needed, caring for a diverse adult, pediatric, and orthopedic patient population. Opportunities to serve as a Charge Nurse will also be part of the role's responsibilities, contributing to unit leadership and coordination.

Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetrical patients throughout the labor, delivery, and postpartum phases.
Manage care for newborns in the nursery setting.
Deliver skilled nursing care to adult, pediatric, and orthopedic patients on the Medical-Surgical unit.
Assume Charge Nurse responsibilities, including unit coordination, patient flow management, and staff support.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and responses.
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
Demonstrated recent experience in Labor and Delivery.
Ability to float and provide care across Medical-Surgical units (Adult, Peds, Ortho).
Competency in Critical Access Hospital environments.
