Candidates will be responsible for assessing patient conditions and implementing nursing care plans. The position requires experience with a range of acute emergencies. Advanced certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC are necessary for this role. A strong background in trauma and community hospital experience is preferred. Candidates should have skills in central line management, IV sedation, and patient monitoring. The position involves working with a diverse patient population including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Daily patient census averages around 30 with approximately 130 visits per day. The emergency room is recognized as a Level II Trauma Stroke Center. Interdisciplinary support is available, including respiratory services and pharmacy. This role requires a license validated within the past two weeks. Compliance with onboarding procedures and work history verification is mandatory. Candidates must have references available from the past year.
