Key Responsibilities of the Emergency Room Registered Nurse- Provide direct nursing care to emergency department patients
- Evaluate, manage, and monitor patients in the emergency setting
- Triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in trauma bays and pods
- Administer medications, including vasopressor and cardiac drips, as needed
- Interpret and act on life-threatening rhythms from telemetry monitors
Requirements of the Emergency Room Registered Nurse- Active IL RN license or application initiated
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC certifications
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, with prior travel assignment preferred
- Experience in teaching hospitals and SANE RN preferred
