Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,581 per week in San Francisco, CA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience License: Required state RN License Certifications: Current BLS, PALS, ACLS Must-Have: - Experience with Epic charting system - Ability to float to other units - Previous charge experience - Trauma Level II experience Description: Looking for an experienced Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room. This role requires working the night shift. The position involves caring for patients of all ages, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily patient census averages around 40 visits. The unit is fast-paced with a variety of patient diagnoses such as stroke, cardiac and respiratory arrest, and orthopedic issues. The nurse will be expected to manage multiple patients with varying degrees of acuity, maintaining a patient ratio of 4 to 1. Skills required include BiPAP/CPAP management, interpretation of arterial blood gases, intubation, and procedural sedation administration. This role will involve working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services and social services. Candidates must have prior travel experience within the last 12 months and teaching hospital experience is preferred. Candidates must confirm COVID vaccine and booster status upon submission.
