Job SummaryWe're seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses (ED RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency setting. The RN will assess patient conditions, respond to life-threatening emergencies, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure safe and effective treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency department patients
- Rapidly identify and intervene in life-threatening conditions
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and perform phlebotomy
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families
- Maintain accurate documentation using MEDITECH EMR
- Follow infection control and patient safety protocols
- Prioritize patient needs in high-stress situations
- May be required to serve as charge nurse when needed
