Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,614 per week in Utica, NY

Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – New York

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Central New York

Schedule: Evening shift, 2:30 PM – 3:00 AM. Floating to other units may be required based on facility needs.

Highlights:

• High-acuity 64-bed Emergency Department serving a diverse patient population from newborns to geriatrics
• Comprehensive case mix including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Specialized equipment experience with Rapid Infuser and Arctic Sun therapeutic temperature management systems
• EPIC electronic medical record system in use
• Charge nurse capability highly preferred
• Unit includes 40 acute beds, 2 trauma bays, 2 triage areas, 6 super track, 10 clinical decision unit beds, and 6 behavioral health beds

Requirements:

• Active New York Registered Nurse license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Pediatric patient care experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Current TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required in hand prior to start
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Valid driver's license
